Overview of Researches

I am interested in the diversity of exoplanets and exoplanetary systems. I study to reveal properties of exoplanets and how diverse exoplanetary systems form by observations. For the purposes, I am mainly working on observing transiting exoplanets and developing new astronomical instruments. In particular, I am participating in the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) which will be launched in 2018. In addition, I am collaborating with planetary scientists, biologists, chemists, etc for cross-disciplinary studies for astrobiology.
