Overview of Researches

Observations of exoplanets are one of the hottest topics in modern astronomy. We are conducting direct imaging of exoplanets and planet formation sites, infrared radial velocity and infrared/optical transit studies of various exoplanets including Earth-mass planets to approach habitable planets. We are also conducting exoplanet instrumentations for the Subaru and other ground-based telescopes and space telescopes.
